Newly
laid linoleum
- Scrub
and clean the floor using the correct dilution rate of Starclean
2000 Cleaner, together with a slow speed floor machine,
tan pad and a wet pick-up machine.
- Starclean
2000 is harmless to new flooring, as it can be used on carpets.
It is essential to use on the initial clean to remove any
soiling left by the floor layers. This process also aids
non-slip problems, discolouration and gives good adhesion.
- If
the Linoleum is to be maintained daily by mopping, use a
solution of diluted Star 2000 Floor Maintainer, then buff
with a floor machine to obtain a semi gloss finish.
- Star
2000 Floor Maintainer can be used neat for the first time,
if a higher gloss finish is required. Continue with the
diluted product daily. Buffing is unnecessary if a gloss
finish is not required. The appearance will be of a satin
finish.
- For
a Super Gloss Finish or Satin Finish on new linoleum flooring,
follow the same procedure by scrubbing with Starclean 2000
and when dry use Norsan’s Hard & Fast Emulsion
Floor Dressing. Maintain daily with Star 2000 Floor Maintainer.
This method of cleaning applies to all types of newly laid
hard floor coverings.
