Initially
study all the areas to be cleaned: Toilets, Urinals, Washbasins,
Floors, Walls, Tiles, Glass and Mirrors, Panels, Screens,
Doors and Handles, observing the well used sections. Pay particular
attention to the direct areas surrounding: toilets and urinals,
especially the floors, as these are the source of bacteria
and bad odours.
Norsan
recommends cleaning with a Concentrated Multi-Purpose Bactericidal
Toilet Cleaner / Descaler, which will attack bacteria and
bad odours at source. When diluted it can also be safely used
as a daily cleaner on all surfaces found in washrooms, including
chrome, stainless steel, porcelain and ceramics.
Descaling
– Hard Water Areas.
Toilets and Urinals should be descaled each week. To descale
a toilet: firstly remove all the water from the bowl by pushing
down and up with a toilet brush / mop, which forces the water
out of the bowl. If water is left in the bowl it will weaken
the cleaner / descaler product, resulting in the probability
of not removing the stubborn stains. Apply the neat cleaner
/ descaler around the rim at the water outlets and then around
the bowl. Leave until the other washroom areas have been cleaned
thoroughly with the diluted product, then return to the treated
toilet and agitate with a toilet brush, especially on stubborn
stains. Flush toilet and rinse toilet brush / mop.
To descale urinals; apply the cleaner / descaler to the surface
working from side to side with a toilet brush / mop concentrating
on stubborn stains. Leave to be rinsed by the automatic flushing
system, while other areas of the washroom are being cleaned
with diluted product. Return to the urinal to give a final
clean if necessary after flushing.
On a daily basis after cleaning the urinal and washroom with
the diluted product, squirt a small amount of neat product
into the urinal trap, this will help to keep the pipes free
flowing and to eliminate the urine smell. next>> |
